Welcome to my webpage!

I am a PhD Candidate in Finance at the University of Amsterdam and Tinbergen Institute, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. E.C. Perotti and Prof. Dr. F. Van der Ploeg. I am also a visiting PhD student at De Nederlandsche Bank and a PhD research associate of the Amsterdam Center of Law and Economics. 

My research is in climate finance, and aims to explore how financial incentives shape the response of economic actors to climate change, and its distributional consequences. My work also aims to examine the impact of climate risk on asset - and house prices, individual adaptative efforts and political choices on public adaptation.  

During the Spring term of 2024, I visited the Finance Department of Imperial College London. Since the Spring of 2024, I am also a PhD committee member of the Young Scholars Webinar Committee on Climate Finance and Economics (supported by the E-Axes Forum) .

I hold an MPhil in Economics from Tinbergen Institute (with distinction), a Bachelor of Science in Economics (with highest distinction) and a Bachelor in Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.  You can find my full resume here.
