Welcome! I am a PhD Candidate in Finance at the University of Amsterdam and Tinbergen Institute, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. E.C. Perotti and Prof. Dr. F. Van der Ploeg. I will join Nova School of Business and Economics as an Assistant Professor in Finance in September, 2025.
My research interests are in macro-finance, climate finance, and household finance. I study how market incentives and financing frictions shape households’ response to climate change, through adaptation and mitigation, along with the resulting distributional effects. I also examine how investors respond to firms' efforts to mitigate climate transition risks and the associated pricing implications.
My job market paper has received best paper awards at the CEPR Household Finance Conference and the European Sustainable Finance PhD Workshop. I also was a finalist in the Young Economist Competition of the European Central Bank, held at the Forum on Central Banking in Sintra in 2024.
I am a visiting scholar at De Nederlandsche Bank and visited Imperial College London. I hold an MPhil in Economics from Tinbergen Institute (with distinction), a BSc in Economics (with highest distinction and valedictorian) and a LL.B. in Dutch law (dean's list) from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
