Welcome to my webpage!

I am a PhD Candidate in Finance at the University of Amsterdam and Tinbergen Institute, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. E.C. Perotti and Prof. Dr. F. Van der Ploeg, and a visiting PhD student at De Nederlandsche Bank. I will be on the 2024/2025 the academic job market.

My research interests are in climate finance, macrofinance and household finance. In my research, I explore how financial incentives shape the response of economic actors to climate change through adaptation and mitigation, and the associated distributional effects. My work also examines the impact of climate risk on the pricing of housing and financial assets, the effectiveness of individual adaptation and mitigation efforts and political choices on climate policies.

During the Spring term of 2024, I visited the Finance Department of Imperial College London and I was a finalist in the Young Economist Competition of the European Central Bank, held at the Forum on Central Banking in Sintra in 2024.

I hold an MPhil in Economics from Tinbergen Institute (with distinction), a Bachelor of Science in Economics (with highest distinction, valedictorian) and a Bachelor in Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.  You can find my full resume here.
