Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics.
My research interests are in macro-finance, climate finance, and household finance. I study how financing and investment frictions shape households’ response to climate change, through adaptation and mitigation, and their implications for distributional outcomes and political support for climate policies. On the corporate side, I examine whether investors value firms' efforts to manage climate transition risks and the implications for capital allocation and the green transition.
I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute. I also hold an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute, and a BSc in Economics and LLB in Dutch Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. I am a visiting researcher at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the University of Amsterdam.
